Congratulations to K-6 on your fantastic efforts last night! The Shadow Puppetry, Marimbas, Bush Dancing, Guitar performances and the wonderful, The Grinch Stole Christmas (the Musical), showcased the wide variety of opportunities offered to our students at Illabo Public School. A special commendation to our future students, Mimi, Scarlett and Finn, who joined in our performance.
I thank our school leaders for demonstrating their leadership in hosting the night and our sponsors who donate prizes every year for our major awards.
Also the very important recognition of every student is provided with a quality book prize from our supportive P&C, who ensure great things can happen for our students.
A huge thank you to our talented teaching team of Mrs Cheryl Carter, Mrs Jenna Downey, Mr Nathan Steward, Mrs Natalie Wilkinson and Miss Megan Callow who all did a great job preparing last night.
To Mrs Julie Ryan (with assistance from Miss Nicole Ryan) for ensuring she checks the list twice; her amazing graphic skills for certificates, programs, coordinating of trophies and photography skills.
Of course an enormous thank you to our school community who come each year to support our students and their local school – thank you for joining us again in 2014.
