School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Book Week

Book Week is a special time at our school where we celebrate a love of reading. Students take part in fun activities throughout the week.

Wellbeing Day

School open day is an opportunity for students, parents and carers to get to know our school.

ANZAC March

Each year, Illabo Public School is invited to join the Junee ANZAC March. Our students take great pride in participating, and the event is always well attended by our school community.

Excursions and Incursions

Our students participate in many day excursions throughout the year, and one of the highlights is the REEC excursion. During this visit, students and staff spend the day at the Riverina Environmental Education Centre, learning and exploring together.

End of Year Presentation and Production

At the end of each year, our students all participate in our End of Year Presentation Night and school production. This is a wonderful evening for our school and community to come together and celebrate the year that was.

NAIDOC Week

NAIDOC week is always a meaningful celebration at our school. Students and staff come together to learn, share stories, and celebrate the rich culture and history of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. It’s a week filled with creativity, learning, and respect.
